change is the only constant

This has been an overwhelming week. Matt was offered a job with a great company and we are so excited!  He will be training for four months and then we could move anywhere in the country at the end of the year. He doesn't start until late August, so we have the great opportunity to do as much as we can with this free time before he starts.

As for me, I walked in April, but I still had an online class to finish before I would officially graduate. I am happy to report I finished it and I cannot wait to get that diploma in the mail.

Pictures as of late:

I don't remember Utah summers being this hot! Matt's freshly buzzed head. I like rubbing my hand on it.

Rach left me this note at the testing center while I was taking my very last final.

To celebrate we ate out at a delicious new restaurant and stopped in a fun toy store.

nathan and katie come to utah

Nathan and Katie came to Utah for the weekend. We hiked the Y (which Matt had NEVER done before and he has lived in Provo for 6 years), went to Cafe Rio, the BYU/Utah baseball game (won in the ninth inning with 3 runs!), ate dinner at Sundance and then walked main street of Park City. It was fun and so nice outside, but I was whipped by the end of the day. I'm happy they could come visit us, they are so much fun to be around.
We saw Natalie, her dad, Paul and Crow at the top of the Y.

commencement (day 1 of celebration)

Can you see me?

Elder Christofferson, a member of the Twelve Apostles, spoke.

Waving for the camera.

Yes, my parents have been married for 33 years today!

Cam and Betty's delicious taco/grad party. Matt was in heaven. They are AMAZING tacos. I'm going to miss them. (Cam and Betty.)

my baby

For graduation I got this. I am obsessed and so excited! My other camera has seen better days. I told Matt to be prepared for MANY more pictures to be taken in the future, he is not as excited.

last day of classes. somebody pinch me!

This school year has flown by! Fine by me, I have been looking forward to the summer since the first day of snow. I can't wait for:

longer, sunnier days
blooming flowers
summer blockbusters
warm weather
lake powell
sunglasses
getting some sun
camping
spending as much time as I can outside
and knowing I won't be returning to school in the fall!

And sometime I'll have to find a job.

In celebration of this special occasion we are going to dinner and then the movies to see Date Night.
